Many today are angry at our government and, in particular, our current justice system.
Some of those people have good cause to be angry! There is corruption in government and, sadly, in too many of our courts.
But, a few of those people who send emails, host websites, post blogs, and produce personal podcasts are too angry!
The ignorant anger can hurt you if you believe and act on what they say, because much of what they say is not true.
Their rage distorts their reason.
Here are some examples.
1 One of these angry persons insisted that, because she “copyrighted” her own name, the police could not write her name on a traffic ticket and the courts couldn’t print her name on official papers. This is, of course, utter nonsense. Her anger twisted her mind.
2 Some insist our courts are “admiralty courts” because they display a flag with a yellow or gold fringe in the courtroom. It’s not the flag that gives courts jurisdiction. It’s the Constitution and the rules of court procedure. This lie has been promoted for many years by angry people who don’t know any better or outright refuse to learn the truth.
3 Many claim to be “patriots” yet do all they can to evade The Rule of Law and refuse to learn the rules of due process that too many gave their lives in past and present wars to protect and preserve for us. Patriots honor The Rule of Law and work to protect, preserve, and promote due process for the rest of us.
4 Hundreds of thousands worship radio and television commentators who drone on about how horrible things are, yet only a handful of media commentators suggest any practical solutions. They tell their listeners to “complain” along with them, but none of them tell how to “complain in court” where properly written complaints unlock courthouse doors and give people power to force their opponents and witnesses to answer questions under oath, to produce evidence, and to be held responsible for the wrongs they commit.
Jurisdictionary® knows people are hurting and exists to alleviate that pain with the practical solution of public legal education.
Jurisdictionary® has helped tens of thousands since it launched on the internet in 1997, showing hurting people how to use the simple rules of court and common-sense tactics to control judges and get justice.
Please join us to learn and teach others what Justice is and how to get it.
