Many lawyers will refuse to work for you unless you let them run the show! They say things like, "You be the client. I'll be the lawyer!" They talk down to you. They assume you know nothing.
Many will charge you for their time while they "think" about your case over lunch break. Many will charge a minimum 20 minutes when they talk on the phone for only 3 minutes. It all adds up!
