Corporations

Corporations, as the Latin root corpus suggests, are “bodies”.

They are bodies acting at the direction of and controlled by human beings.

They can buy and sell.

They can enter into contracts.

They can own and control property.

They can sue and be sued.

The United States of America is not a corporation, as disruptive ignorance on the internet insists. The United States of America is a sovereign nation, born by its Declaration of Independence and governed by its Constitution.  

None of our States is a corporation. Each is a sovereign state, governed by its state constitution.

None of our courts corporations. They are constitutionally created legal entities authorized to adjudicate disputes between parties according to existing law – constitutional, legislative, and judicially created law.

Municipal Corporations are not corporations like General Motors. They have no shareholders. They are not “privately owned”. They too are created by constitutional authority.

There is an army of influencers intent on undermining the confidence and security of the American People (and the people of other constitutional republics as well). Their intentional, mostly angry and disruptive mis-information floods the internet.
